BFA\'s Life

BFA's XistenZ can not yet be called a life. Originally from Pretoria, South-Africa and now living and working in The Hague, The Netherlands.

He has but a couple of friends but no girlfriend or wife. One would think that after 30 years of life friendship would be easy to establish, but he is selfaware of his size. That makes him believe that he is not worthy of the love and respect of others. He is affraid of opening up to people, thinking that they would judge him on that. He's an overall shy guy dumping all of his finances in his hobby (assembling and maintaining computers).

At work he has an enormous sense of duty and can therefor not easily let something lie (even if there is no more budget). He treats his customers' needs as though they have the highest priority. He will see to it that others are able to do their job before continuing on what he was busy with. What he does? He is a Mainframe/OpenVMS COBOL programmer giving support and performing maintenance on running systems (programs) ensuring the continuation of productional systems within companies. He easily gets bored doing nothing, at home and work, so he tends to look for things to do (and if there's nothing he falls asleep) ;-)

Even though there are no animals in his home (other than himself) he really likes dogs (preferring Staffordshire Terriers). He cannot bare the thought of leaving the animal inside for a period of more than 8 hours when he has to go to work and has therefor never aquired one in The Netherlands.

You may notice the fact that he lives alone. On occasion you'll probably see the neighour's kid rumbling through his stuff and a couple of times a year you might see 4 to 8 people visiting at once. Those are my Dutch friends. They are all colleagues, current and former, and their immediate families.

There you have it. That's the XistenZ of BFA and hopefully there will remain a streaming video-feed from his webcam.
