Weekend-July 15/16
Fort Meyers visiting Joel and Gussy on their boat. What perfect hosts! But we knew that. We had dinner, drinks and dancing. The Beat is the happening place in Fort Meyers on a Saturday night! Grips pronounced this the BEST sound system in a club. The "beat" of the music is backed up by live players on Djembe, Congo drums and other percussion instruments. For someone who loves to dance like I do- it's the greatest. Free shots at the bar really loosen the party up. You must go there when in Ft. Meyers.
The next day, we caught up to some of the GoFast crew, "Bobby Hill" & "Billy." It is good to see you two so soon, again. Back at the "Ranch" as I fondly call The Branding Iron and the surrounding Hendry Isles Resort, we chowed down on some of the best ribs you'll ever wrap your lips around. Ahhh, great way to end a great weekend.
