Tips on using AllAdvantage

What is AllAdvantage.com, and how can you make the most money from it? This page contains tips on using AllAdvantage.com to get paid for surfing the Web.

How does it work? AllAdvantage.com pays you $.50 per hour, up to 40 hours per month for surfing the Web. In exchange for payment, you download and run the AllAdvantage Viewbar while you surf. The Viewbar is a small, banner-sized window that displays advertisements.

You also get paid for referring other members to AllAdvantage.com. You receive $.10 per hour for the time your referrals spend surfing the Web. There is no limit to the number of referrals you can have. You also receive $.05 per hour for members indirectly referred by you (members referred by people you referred).

Let's say you have 10 referrals and 5 indirect referrals:

How can you make the most of AllAdvantage? As you can see from the example above, you can earn extra money by referring other people to AllAdvantage. You can add a link to AllAdvantage in your emails, or place a banner on your web page. The referrals are handled automatically. However, you may not spam other people regarding AllAdvantage. The other important tip for using AllAdvantage is that you must use the Viewbar! It's not enough to simply refer other people, because AllAdvantage limits the number of hours you get paid for referrals. You only get paid for referrals according to the number of hours you use the Viewbar. For example, let's say your referrals use the Viewbar an average of 30 hours per month, but you use the Viewbar only 10 hours. You only get paid for 10 hours of the time your referrals surf the Web. So it's important that you use the Viewbar! (If you think about it, this actually works in your favor in the long run.)

One last tip: When you install the Viewbar, it places a shortcut in your Windows StartUp group. This means the Viewbar runs every time you start Windows. Even when you're not surfing the Web. This is my only complaint about AllAdvantage, because why watch commercials on your computer when you're not getting paid for it? So I recommend you remove the shortcut to the Viewbar from your StartUp group. You can do this by right-clicking on the Start button (lower-left corner of your screen) and then browsing to the StartUp group. To launch the Viewbar manually, just double-click the icon on your desktop.
