THE FINAL CRUSADE Chapter 1 The beginning . At 12:10 am Jan, 1, 2000 a race of aliens launched all of the world's nuclear missiles and then detonated them over all the military bases and power stations on earth .Security doors would not open . The electro magnetic blast wiped out power. My friend and I were working the night shift at the police department's forensic lab. when the power went out .I thought it was weird when the emergency lights did not turn on .All I could hear was the people at the New Years party booing. Then I felt a tap on the shoulder , I jumped .Then I heard my friend say "Chill it's just me .Hey ,do you still have that Zippo lighter that your dad gave you ?" "Oh ya "I said ,I pulled it out ,lit it and gave it to him . Then he said ."Come with me and help me start the generator in the basement ". When we got there ,we took turns pull starting the generator .It took awhile, but we got it started .When we got back upstairs a forensic specialist and the only sober one in the place said ," Excuse me , janitor ,but how come the generator didn't kick in right away ?" I jokingly said ,"It was probably an EM blast ." Then she asked ," But what could have created that ?" "You're the scientist, We just work here !" my friend said in a sarcastic voice." I am sorry, "I said to her . " That's all right ,Oh damn !" she said ."And that means my car won't start and I live on the other side of the city . How will I get home or where would I stay tonight ? " she asked. Then I said , "My house is in walking distance and I have a guest room if you want you can come stay with me tonight ,"She thought for a moment . Then she said ,"O.K. but don't try anything !" Then my friend Tom asked ,"Then can I crash at your place too man ? " I said ,"Sure but you get the couch." Next Tom said ,"Let's go ask the boss what to do next ."So we went to the room where the party was . The party was over and the boss was telling people to go home. He looked at us and then he turned off all the lights . "We have to go home to stop the looters from breaking into our homes and stealing our stuff , " he said . His speech was a little slurred .We locked the doors and walked the two blocks to my place . The next morning we looked outside . The streets were littered with trash and we could see smoke from fires burning all over the city .Just then I heard some noise out in the hall . So I looked through the peep hole and saw a guy kicking my neighbor's door . So I yelled "Hey !" through my door . When he turned around, I saw it was my neighbor ,so I opened my door , and said ," I am sorry . I thought you were trying to break in ." "I was " he said . "But why "? I asked . Then he said " I bought one of those keyless entry locks ,so I could leave the keys at home when I go to the army base . Now that the power is off ,I can't open my door ." "Why don't you come in for now , and tell us what happened at the army base last night, " I said as I showed him in to my apartment . " Well, " he started ,"I guess it's not classified anymore anyway. I work in the communications and last night I got messages from all of our missile silos . At around midnight the computers started the automatic count-down to launch of all our nuclear missiles .So I called my superior and he told me to call the capital ,' he paused for a second .Then he asked ,"Are you not going to introduce me to everybody ?" "Oh ya where are my manners?" I said . " This woman is Jane . She is a forensic scientist at the police station where I work and this is Tom ,janitorial colleague and everybody , this is my neighbor and friend Dean," I said . "O.K.," Dean continued ,"Where was I oh ya , I called the capitol and my superior told them that the missiles where going to launch themselves, and the capital told us to try to stop it while the they warned the other countries that it might happen . About the same time the missiles left the silos ,the capital asked to be put on the speaker-phone . Then they told us that all the world's missiles were launched at around the same time. It seemed as though something or someone planed it .All the missiles were heading to space and just then one of them detonated over the city. That is why we have no power .Then he asked ," How did your day go J.L. ?"in a sarcastic voice . "It was not as interesting as your day that's for sure ," I said . " So, what do we do now ?" Jane asked " I guess we try to find away to charge your battery ,so you can go see what is left of your place ," I said ," I have a charger . But we don't have power to use it." Just then Dean said ," I have a generator in my place if we could get in there Oh heck, let's just kick the door in I am leaving tomorrow anyway." " Where I am I going to keep my things until tomorrow?" Dean asked . " You can keep your stuff at my place .Where are you going ?" I asked . He then said ," I don't know , but I am not staying in the city , because when the people find out what happened last night ,they will rip this place apart ." " Well, in that case ,why don't you stay with us tonight and tomorrow you ,Tom and I can go and stay with my father and brother for a while." I said ."All we need is a truck, "I said . Then Jane said," You got one if I can go with you .Just let me go get some things from home." Then Tom asked , " I thought you said you have a car ?" " Well that's what I call it ,Boy you are a pest !"Jane snapped. " That's enough from you two for now .All right ,now lets go get the truck," I said . So we moved Dean's things into my apartment . Next we went and pushed the truck to the front of my place and took out the battery and hooked it up to the charger out on the fire escape so the fumes wouldn't kill us . About four hours later, we took the battery down and put it into the truck .Then Jane took Tom and me to help her get her things .Meanwhile, Dean checked if his stuff was still O.K. The city looked half normal and people were all over the place. When we finally reached her place she backed into the driveway . Then she said ," O.K. can you please help me open the garage ?" I helped her open the garage . When it opened I saw a trailer that looked like a horse trailer and about ten gas cans .Then Jane asked ,"Can you please help me hook up the trailer ?" " But why ? " I asked . "So we can haul that spare gas and the rest of our things ," she answered . Then Jane backed the truck up and I hooked up the trailer up. Then we loaded with the gas ,her clothes and another generator .Then we locked the doors and put her food in the back of the truck .When we got back to my place, we parked in the back . Dean came down and asked , " Hey J,L, can my sister and my friend come with us too ?" I said ," It might be a better idea if we travel in a big group so please introduce me , Dean ." Dean began by saying ," This is my sister Maxine and this is my friend Jake ." Maxine then said ,"Just call me Max. O.K. ." I said ," I am glad to meet you and would love to talk but it will be dark soon .So we should get the trailer loaded so we can leave as soon as we get up in the morning." We loaded all of Dean's camping supplies and our clothes ,the food and all the water we could get . Then we put the gas in the back of the truck and locked it up for the night . About that time the sun was setting . We went upstairs and got set up for the night .About three hours later ,we were going to sleep when Jake saw a light go zooming down to the street followed by a loud explosion on the road in front of the store on the corner. Dean grabbed his pants and gun . Then he said ," Come on, let's go see what it was ." So we got dressed and all went out to look to see if we can find out what it was . By the fire there were a few strange bodies lying around with no heads . One was a small ,white and muscular and one had six spider-like legs . One of them had a short arm and a robot arm . The one with the robot arm looked like it was holding a sword , so I took it out of it's hand type of thing . Then I said ," Hey , look at what I got !" Just then a piece of metal went flying from a pile of metal by a fire and a alien like the one with the sword came out Dean shot it three times; the bullet holes healed right away . Then the alien swung its sword at Dean but he dodged and only cut his arm . Then Jane yelled ," We got to cut its head !" The alien came after me next; it swung at me, but I blocked it with the sword I had . We fought for while until I got a lucky swing in and cut its head off . When the head hit the ground, it splattered. Tom , Max. and Jane asked ," How did you do that ?" I said ," I took fencing in high school .Is Dean O.K. and where is Jake ?" " Over here ,you've got to come and see this !" Jake called out . When we got there , Jake was kneeling next to a robot on this little tank type tracks that was laying on it's side . Max said ," It looks damaged ,but it's nothing I can't fix ." O.K. we can take it but I think we should go before some of their friends come for revenge ,that is if Dean is O.K. " "I am fine . It's just a scratch .Let's go. " Dean said , as he grabbed the other sword .  Chapter 2 On The Move I helped to load the robot .Then I told Jane to drive west toward the mountains and when she got tired to wake me and I would drive . About two hours later ,she woke me up. Then I drove for about another two hours . Then I stopped to put gas in the truck. Then Max and Jake woke up yawning . " Why did we stop ?" Max asked . "I have to put gas in ," I said . When Jake stopped looking at the robot he asked me if I wanted him to drive for awhile ? So I said ," O.K." Meanwhile, Max was now trying to fix the robot . Once we got moving again , I told Jake to look for a sign that said," Mickel's farm " on it . Then I tried to fall back to sleep . When I woke again, Jake was just pulling into the farm's driveway .Then we saw a space ship that landed, and the aliens were trying to get into the house . When we stopped the aliens looked at us and two of them came towards us so Dean and I grabbed our swords and went after them .We dueled for awhile . Dean killed the first one then while .The other was distracted , I killed it .Then Tom and Jane grabbed the other swords and the other three at the door . When my brother saw that it was me and we took care of the aliens at the door, he opened the door . He then said ," Thank-God you're here . Dad is going to die ." I ran inside to see my father dying on the floor . Then I held my father's hand and asked ,"What happened to him?" My brother started by saying ," Last night that thing landed out there and those things tried to take Amanda to their ship , so dad shot one of them with his hunting rifle .It stunned it enough that Amanda could get back into the house and when Dad locked the door, one of them stabbed him through the door ." Then he continued by saying ," We held them off ,but we were running out of ammo , and that's when you pulled up ." My father then slowly lifted his head and then he asked," Is there more of them ? " " I am afraid to say there is , " I answered . He continued by saying ," Then they will be back .You must take care of the family and go were we went when you two where kids ." Then his mouth filled with blood and he passed away After we buried him, we loaded all the food into the truck . My brother A.J. then got the keys for my father's truck .Then he and Amanda, my sister loaded all the tools and mattresses onto the back of my father's truck . Then they followed us to the caves me and the family and I used to go to when I was younger .Once there, we all helped to unload the trucks and trailer . We parked the trucks in a cave next to the one we put our things into . Meanwhile Tom and A.J. took the trailer apart and built a wall blocking the cave entrance with a door and a lock, so we can get in and they could not .When they finished with the door, we fixed the cave up and made dinner . As we ate, Max asked ," I put that thing back to geather but do we really want to turn it on .It is alien, right ? " Then Jake said ," We don't really have to turn it on at all . If I had power, I would hook up my lap top, and I could hack into its program and see what it was programmed to do ." "O.K. let's do it !" I said . As he hacked the robot .Next he told us that it was a simple program and he could change it so that the robot would help and protect us at all cost .We all agreed that would be a great idea, and we got him to do it .Then when we turned it on, it said a bunch of stuff I did not understand until it started to speak English . It asked ," What language would you like me to speak ?" I said ," English . It asked ," How many people would you like me to give command authority to ." I said ," There are eight ." Next it stated ," Please give me a seven digit number access code ."After that we told him our names and phone numbers ." He said ," Name number and voice print recorded . My name is Thon in English it means librarian ." Tom then asked ," What information do you have on those aliens ?" All of a suddenly, a picture appeared flouting in front of us . Thon asked ," What information would you like ?" We looked closer at the picture, and saw that it was a list of names ,places , things and times . Then I said ," Well, we start at the top and work our way down ,so let's start with Troerag ." Then a picture of a strong looking white alien with a big head and big black tear-drop shaped eyes , and two small holes for a nose .The Torerag had a small mouth with no lips. The Torerag looked like one of the aliens that crashed in the city . "This is a Torerag ," Thon started .Then he changed the picture to a beautiful planet ,and then continued by saying ," The Torerag's were caught about sixty - five million B.C. Earth years ago . Then they were equipped with the genesis devices which almost instantly recreate destroyed origins and skin .However since the device is installed in the head when the head comes away from the neck, the host dies . The Torerags also have a translator installed , as well as a slave keeper box . The Torerags do most of the heavy work like building the on planet bases ." Then Jane asked ," What is a slave keeper box ?" Next Thon showed us a close picture of the slave keeper box , then he showed us a picture of a Torerag with the slave keeper box . Then he explained that the S.K.B.( slave keeper box ) is hooked up directly to the brain, one part to the pain center and one to the pleasure center . Thon then showed us a picture of the Torerag being punished and he said ," It is meant to feel like a million paper cuts on the body ." He showed us a picture of a Torerag being reworded, and then he told us that it is like pure ecstasy. Next Thon showed how we could disconnect the S.K.B.'s without harming the wearer. Then I said ," Let's get back to the aliens." Thon showed the Emars a big headed alien with a grayish , brown skin .This creature has small hands and robot legs .Then Thon showed us another planet, this one was highly advanced . Then Thon said ," This is Mage, the home world of the Emars who were a peaceful race .When the Myths came to this world, the Emars who were so dependent on their electronics that they became so weak that they could not fight off the Myth attack .The Myth army took control of the Emars without much of a fight . The Myths are dying so what they did was create a new race that they called G.I.B. which stands for Genetically Enhanced Bodies ,but in their language they spell enhanced with a I ." Then Thon continued by saying ," The Myths created the G.I.B. by mixing the Emar , the Torerag and another race called the Regs D.N.A together ." "What do the Regs look like ?" Amanda asked . Thon showed us a picture of a Regs and he said ," They are a type of spider from the home world of the Myths; the Regs vary in color but they are all deadly . The Regs have some telepathic powers . " "What do the Myths look like ?" asked Dean . " I do not have any information about the Myths at this time ," Thon replied . " They took the mental abilities of the Emar and the six legs of the Regs and they also took their own lust for death . Then they sent the ship on the way to earth . The Myth mother ship stayed in orbit .Then the Myths started to create an army of G.I.Bs on the planet Mage . Then the Myths put themselves in temporary stasis since the Myth ship is so much faster than the G.I.B. mother ship .When the G.I.B mother ship called for them, the Myths would get here in no time at all .When the G.I.B. mother ship got here, they were to collect enough human females for the Myths to reproduce. The Myths use the human females to give birth to the Myth babes , because the human body is perfect to Carry the baby ," Thon continued . Then Amanda asked ," What happens after they give birth ?" Thon answered by saying ," They will probably be re-impregnated and all who will not be slaves will be eliminated." "What do you mean eliminated ?" asked Jane . "All trouble makers will be used as food for the G.I.B. army, "Thon exclaimed .We all decided to go to sleep and worry about it tomorrow .The next morning we started to work with the swords, after I activated Thon and we asked him how many aliens were on Earth . Thon told us that there were three hundred on the mother ship and two attack squads of ten attack ships one G.I.B. per ship ! Then there is also another four-hundred in the first group of landing parties." "What are the attack ships for ?" asked Amanda . "The attack ships were made for destroying the strongholds of those who do not appease the Myths !" Thon started .He continued by saying ," If you can get a ship, I can show you how to fly it , if you would like," "Let's go get the ship at the farm ," I said " I call co.-pilot ," Amanda called out .We all got into the truck and we brought Thon along with us . When we got back to the farm, we saw a new type of ship that landed next to the other . "That's a attack ship !" Thon shouted . " We are lucky that G.I.B is not on board " Tom said, as he jumped out of the back of the truck with sword in hand . When the G.I.B. saw him it looked mad too. The G.I.B. came running at Tom with it's sword raised above its head .As it ran at Tom he jabbed the tip of the sword deep into the side of the G.I.B. Then it fell to the ground and played dead .When Tom went closer the G.I.B. swung its sword at him . But Tom with a swift swing of his sword he deflected the sword ,spinning around he cut off its head in one smooth move . When we had all entered the lander, Thon got the door to open on the attack ship .We then exited the ship and when we got closer to the other ship, Thon detected that the ship robot was activated .So Thon drew the robot out so that Jake could turn it off . Once on board the strange ship Thon gave us a test flit . " This type of ship is very maneuverable and they are also very fast as well ," Thon said ,as he darted around .He spun us like a top and all he could say was ," All of you will have to learn how to pilot these ships like this if you want to beat the G.I.B.s in a fire fight ." Then Thon showed us how to fly the ships ,it took a while but I got the hang of it . We then landed the ship and Dean was the one chosen to fly the attack ship, because he owned his own plane .So Dean got into the attack ship and Jane drove her truck back to the caves. The controls were weird ; they were basically a big glass table that had a lit up under the glass and all you do is tap the word and it would react right away . "I if you were a G.I.B. you would just plug a wire and think about what you want the ship to do and it would do it ," Thon told us . "What does the writing say ?" Amanda asked . " Oh , I forgot to change the language ," Thon said as he projected a red dot on the wall . Then the wall scanned his chest with a blue light . Next the sign on his chest started to glow . Then the ship said," Code approved ." " OK can you read it now ?" Thon asked . "YES," I said . Then we arrived at the caves . We landed ships and then we camuflushed them . That night before we went to sleep we all decided that it would be better if we got a new base.  Chapter 3 The New Base The next morning while the rest were still asleep, I turned Thon on and asked ," why did that thing on you're chest ?" He then told me that it was a model series stamp and a passkey all rolled into one . Then he said ," It allows me to enter secret files and some restricted rooms ."About that time A.J. awoke and his moving around awoke the rest except Jane . " Good morning," I said . "What's for breakfast this morning ?" Amanda asked, after she was done yawning . That's a good idea I thought to myself . "Well, we could have pancakes or pancakes what would you like ?" Max asked . I then asked," Where are we going to move the base too ?" Then A.J. said," Well, we need a spot that could hide a fighter or attack ship that is 21 feet long it also stands 13 feet high and has a 24 foot wing span .Then there is the lander or crew ship that stands 16 feet high and has a radius of over 24 feet ." " Why don't we make the base near the north or south poles .That way we could hide the ships in the ice caves ?" Jane asked when she awoke . Dean said," That's not a bad idea ,in fact that's a great idea .I know of a top secret base that no body is suppose to know about and it would be perfect ." "Do the hangers have enough space to hold the ships ?" inquired A.J. " Yes, there is enough space for four ships ," answered Dean . "Wait if no one is supposed to know about the base how come you do ?" Amanda asked . Dean answered by saying ," I was in charge of sorting the files of a dead general . I came a cross a file that talked about the moonrise 1 ." " Moonrise 1 ?" we asked . " Yes , it is a top secret base made to simulate, a base that they wanted to make on the moon . The file said that the base had been completed . But the feasibility study done after said that it would cost to much to make a base on the moon . So they decided to close the base but they wanted to save the base In case they went to war with a Northern country. The base has been left for two years and probably needs a lot of cleaning too ." Dean explained .We started to pack our thing and get ready for the move. We decided to leave the trucks behind in a special hidden place were could find them if we ever needed them again . We loaded our ships . Once the crew ship was all loaded we piloted the ships over the hill and trees below . I asked," Do you still remember the coordinates ?" " I am sending them now ." he answered . We entered them into the computer and In no-time at all we over the arctic hovering over a shack . Jane asked," Well where is it I only see a shack ?" Dean said," Just wait up here ." Then he landed next to the shack .He then went into it and about two minutes later the ground started to crack open . Dean came out ,got back into the ship and told us to put it in to the hole . When we landed in the base Dean told us that the hanger the base was a under-ground base . Which is a good thing ,because the enemy could not see us from the sky . The air was stale but warm . The lights were on and the base was fully loaded with tools and other things too . Dean told us that ," While I was opening the doors I found a map of this base ." On the map it showed that the barracks, latrines, hydro phonics and the mess hall were all to the right of the hangers . To the left of the hangers was a tunnel that lead to the Machine shop, the Main control room and the Main frame computer room . The power room and the store rooms were straight ahead . Behind us was the tunnel that lead to the labatory ware they were suppose to do some experiments . I asked," Dean , why do you the power is still on ?" " According to the papers I read at the base, this base is powered by a simple hydro electric generator that would not be effected by the E.M. blast ." Dean answered . We started to unload the ships when we saw some thing move in the shadows and five people came out . We grabbed our swords just to be safe " Are you the crew that was suppose to stay here for the year ?" one of them asked .I was about to say no when Dean put his hand on my shoulder . He then said," Yes we are . Who are you ?" Then all of the strangers wiped there swords and ran at us . The one who had spoken then yelled ," Then you all must die !!"as he ran at Dean . The sound of clanging metal echoed through-out the whole hanger . Jake and Jane sat back and watch the rest of us fight . Jake saw a S.K.B. on the on the neck of one of the strangers and realized that Thon could activate the devices and incompasitate them so we could get the swords for them . So he called Thon over and asked him to punish them enough that we could get the swords . Three out of five were already dead before Thon could activate their boxes . the other men fell down in pain . We disarmed them while Jake and Jane held them down disconnected their S.K.B.'s as well . When we disconnected one of the men he said," They made us plant bombs in this base ,and if you let us live we will show you where they are ." We found the bombs right where they said they the bombs would be . Dean then asked," How did they know where this base was located ? " One of them said," I helped build this base . When I was cought in the capital that thing that flew us here in a ship like that one (He said, as he pointed to our attack ship) probed my mind and found out about this base ." Jake then asked ," Did the alien communicate with any other ship ?" " It kept trying to talk to a lander ship that would not answer him . He became vary angry .It dropped us off here, told us to rig the base to blow and it few off . That was yesterday ," The other answered . "O.K. what are your names ?" I asked . " My name is Larry and this is Don ," one of them answered . Thon then said ," I'll go check the ship's records and see if this is the ship that they speak of ." Thon motored off to the ship .In the meantime we locked Larry and Don in the brig . About three minutes later Thon returned . He then said," It was the ship they arrived on , but the G.I.B. called the Mother ship that means if the mother ship does not here from the G.I.B. in three days from the date of transmission all the attack ships the Mother ship can spare will converge on this base until it is no more ." " So here is a easy answer Let's attack the Mother ship first ! " Dean said with a sparkle in his eye . " What are you crazy ? A ship that big has to be protected we'd be killed ." Jake said . " Wimp, " Dean snickered . " We could attack and sirvire. If we are fast and lucky, we could plant the bombs that they wanted to plant in this base on there Mother ship, " Thon stated . " How ironic . That the aliens would die from own bombs, " I thought . " O.K., let's vote . Who votes that we attack the Mother ship ?" Tom asked . We all raised our hands . " O.K., then its unanimous we attack at dawn !" I said . Tom then asked," Now do we let the men we cought go or not ?" We decided to let them go but watch them carefully . Dean then asked," Why do we have to be fast ?" " Well , according to the last communication with Mother ship that the attack ship had . The mother ship will be turning it's S.D.A.S.S. off for a hour," Thon explained . " What is wrong with the S,D,A,S,S, ?" Dean asked . Thon answered by saying," The radiation from the nuclear bastes effected it more the they first thought ." Jane then said," I have two questions for you." "O.K., what are they ?" Thon asked. " First . What is a S.D.A.S.S. ? Second . Could we down load some files from the Mother ship?" Jane asked . "For the first question. It stands for Ship, Detecting, And, Scanning, System, and for the second. I don't have the ships entry code," Thon answered . " Well, does the other robot have the access code?" I asked . " We would have to turn him on to find out ," Thon answered . " O.K., I know my job, I'll change the programming ," Jake said . Within a few minutes the reprogramming was done . Then Tom asked," How do we download the entry code ?" " We can't the code is the design on his chest right Thon ?" I stated . " Yes," he answered . " Well, then how do we find out if he has the right code ?" Dean asked . " We get the ship to scan his chest and tell us if he has the entry code or not and if so we are in !" Thon exclaimed .When we turned him on he said a bunch of weird stuff just like Thon did . Then in English it asked," What language would you like me to speak ?" As before I said," English ." Next he asked," How many people do you wish to give command status to ?" " Eight, " I answered . We then give our names and numbers including Thon . " Voice print and name recantation complete . My name is Beta ." it replied. It continued by saying," B.E.T.A. stands for Bionic, Electronic, Transferring, Android,." " O.K., Beta please list code accessibility in the lander," Thon commanded . Beta complied , he showed us all the computers that he could access and the computer for the Mother ships outer door was one of them . We saw that we could also access the Mother ships main frame computer as well . Thon then said," Yes we can now download files from the Mother ships main frame computer . Then we would know all that they know like if they called the Myths or not ." " We would also know their on earth bases are," he continued .  CHAPTER 4 The Attack We all decided to get a good nights sleep and attack the Mother ship early in the morning before the sun rises over the earth . That way we are hidden in the dark as we fly up to the ship . Also that way most of the G.I.B.s would still be sleeping . The next morning we awoke and rushed into the ships and took off to lunch our attack upon the Mother ship . Once we arrived at the Mother ship Beta opened the to let us in . The ship seemed abandoned in the back ground there was a light humming sound . Beta told us that it the sound was the G.I.B.s sleeping . Beta showed us the spots to plant the bombs .Then he went to set up a link to download to files we needed and in about ten minutes later we meet on the way out . As we entered the last corridor a Torerag and two G.I.B.s saw us . The frightened creature shouted," Oh no Beta !" Meanwhile one of the G.I.B.s tripped the alarm . We killed the G.I.B.s and knocked out the Torerag . We then grabbed the Torerag and ran into the ship . Before we took off I radioed Dean to tell him that we where done and that we might get some company . He then said," All right some fun for once ." As we took off the G.I.B.s lunched there own attack ship to kill us only two ships lunched before the Mother ship exploded . But Dean who was waiting in our attack ship got them as they flew out of the Mother ship . Cheering as he killed each one . "Well, well, look who's trigger happy ," Jane snickered . When we set the Torerag down in the holding cell it awoke. It paused for a moment then said," Please don't heart me ." " Don't worry we will not heart you , we have disconnected the S.K.B. ," Jane said in a nice soothing voice . " Why are you humans so nice to me ?" he asked . " We are nice to you, because we know that it was not your fault that the Myth's made you fight their fight for them," I answered . " The Myths called me Banner and that is what you can may as well," Banner told us . " It nice to meet you Banner . For your and our safety we will lock you in your room for the night . But in the meantime you can decide if you would like to live with us or where else to liv," I told him . " What would you like in your room ?" Tom asked . " All I want is a safe place to sleep ." Banner answered . " O.K., you got it ," Tom replied . " Hey alien are you going to help or what ?" Larry asked in a sarcastic voice . Banner then went and helped Larry lift Don off ship on a stretcher . Thon asked ," What happened to him ?" " He was bitten by one of those Regs ," Jane answered . " Get him to the infirmary , Jane please follow us," Thon said in a hurry . " Why ?" Jane asked . " He's been poisoned," Thon stated . " What do you mean he's been poisoned ?" I asked as we rushed to the infirmary . " The Regs are poisonous bite and if we are lucky, we can give him the antidote in time ," Thon said as we entered the infirmary . Then I asked," Thon and Beta did you find any thing good on the files from the Mother ship's computer ?"“ We did not get a chance to read all of the files ,” he started . He continued by saying ,” The bad news is that the Mother ship did send the message to the Mother ship. But the message will take ten years to reach the Myth ship .” “But when the message reaches the Myth ship . The Myth ship can be here in a mater of seconds .” “How is that possible ?” Tom asked . “ The Myth ship creates a supper charged worm hole .” Thon answered . “ But worm holes are not supposed to exist, right ? “ Asked Amanda . Thon answered, “ There are very rare, but the Myth’s create their own . “ “ So we have ten years until they arrive here right ?” I asked . “ Yes “ Beta and Thon answered . “ Fine then we will just kill them when they get here . Thon then said, “These are most of the Earth bases. Each base has two fighters and about fifteen ground crew members. Out of all these bases only two of them are Gib crews the rest of them are Emar s and Torerags.” “I have offered to the ambassiter between your race and mine. If you help us disconnect the S.K.B.’s on my people then we will help your people defeat the Myths. “ Banner stated. I then said, “ Before we could get to them we need to try a combined attack against a Torerag. But in order to do that we would have to knock out the Torerags first and then get rid of the fighters .” “We’ll just blow the fighters up, but what do you mean knock out the Torerags?” Banner asked. “We have to put them to sleep because if we did not they would not let us unhook the S.K.B.’s and they might fight us and some could get killed. Also we can not blow the fighters because we might need them.” I said to Banner. Then AJ asked, “ What the do you know about the Myths?” Chapter 5 Truth or Myth ? “According to the Mother ship’s files, they got a message about 64,000,000 years after leaving The Myth Mother ship the message said, “Five Myths have left for their journey to Earth and that means that the ship should have landed in roughly the late 1700’s,” Thon told us. “Then how come no one ever saw these monsters then?” I asked “They probably did, but they look a lot like you humans Most of the time. The only time they don’t, is when they call on the power of their ancestors then depending on the clan they can look like what you call Menintars, Werewolves & Werebats. The only real deference that there is, is that they have a luminescence to their eyes and they sprout fangs. They need the red and white blood cells that are found in living blood which they get by sucking it through their fangs when they bite your neck or another blood vessel.” Beta said. “You mean their Vampires. You mean that all these years Vampires are real?” AJ asked. Jane then asked, “When you said that they needed human women to reproduce but if they are Vampires, don’t they just have to bite someone to turn them in to a Vampire?” “That is just another human embellishment. The Myths reproduce by finding a compatible pregnant female and then the Myth bites her on the neck. It then releases a special formula of bio-mutate that follows the blood stream until it reaches the growing child. The mutate then starts to mutate the child into a Myth,” Beta informed us. “Can we still scare them with garlic and can we kill them with wooden stakes or was that another embellishment as well?” I asked Beta. “All I know is, that anything through the heart will kill them and I don’t know about the Garlic though ! The only problem is that they have twice the strength of a normal human,” Beta answered. “Let’s get back to figuring out how to get the fighter ships and the free the Torerags.” I said. Then Banner said, “Show me how to disconnect the S.K.B.s. Then I can sneak into the base and set free some of my people and lead them against the Gib’s.” That night , we showed Banner how to disconnect the S.K.B.s Without hurting the slave of the device. The Next mornning we made plans for the following attack on the Gib controled base. When it came time to implament the plan we gave Banner two swords and droped him off about two Kms away from the base so they did not see us comeing. “Please give me an hour to take the base, kll the Gibs and remove the S.K.B.s” Banner told us. Then he moved swiftly away and through the forest. “At that speed he’ll be at the base in no time at all!” I said with amazement. When we arived at the base, we buzzed the base twice. Then we saw Banner come out of one of the buildings that made the base. The others soon followed him. When we landed, we perpared for anything. With swords in hand we steped off the lander.
