Skittles Whelping Box

Welcome to our Puppy Cam!

Our puppies are Olde English Bulldogges. They are a rare breed,
representing the old time English Bulldog in it's working days.
A functional Bulldog. Definitely not couch a potato.
Our dogges are free breathing, free breeding and free whelping.
We guarantee our pup's genetic health for life.

Sire: Greenly's Otis

Otis and Skittle's puppies are here!
They were born on Thanksgiving Eve thru Thanksgiving Day.
We have five girls and two boys. All are healthy.
Mom is resting comfortably and starting to venture from the whelping box.
We are taking pictures today to add to our website at Our Olde Bulldogges
Three females and one male are reserved.
Happy Holidays!

When Can My Puppy See?
Your puppy is born with his eyes sealed shut.
Between 7 and 10 days of age, your puppy will start to open his eyes
and by day 13 he can see fuzzy images. The eyes of puppies will be gray
and not change to the adult color until about 12 weeks of age.
At four weeks of age, he can recognize his care taker and mother by sight
and at 10 weeks of age his site is fully developed.

What age will the puppy be able to hear?
Although puppies may respond to vibrations they will not begin to hear until about two weeks old. If puppies cannot see or hear how do they find their mother? Puppies are born with a fully developed sense of smell which allows them to locate their mother for a feed. They also seek out the warmth of her body.

At what age do puppies walk?
Puppies are unable to walk when born and will drag themselves to the mother for a feed. At about two weeks old the puppies will start to lift their bodies off the floor and crawl. At approximately three weeks they will be able to walk and by 4 5 weeks they will run.
